New Music: Weekly Releases for September 10, 2023

Losing legends is tough. By now, I'm sure you've heard of Jimmy Buffett's passing. The iconic ‘Margaritaville’ singer transitioned to eternal paradise on September 1st. While the music world mourns another great, he leaves behind a legacy that one can only dream of. His estate dropped three tracks off a project in the works: ‘Bubbles Up’, ‘Like My Dog,’ and ‘My Gummie Just Kicked In.’ Music lovers can continue to boost Buffett's numbers when his album, ‘Equal Strain On All Parts,’ posthumously debuts on November 3rd.
Newcomer and rising talent, Olivia Rodrigo, has released her sophomore album, ‘GUTS.’ The LP features 12 tracks, including ‘vampire,’ ‘the grudge,’ ‘pretty isn't pretty,’ and ‘logical.’ While the reviews from the masses seem to be mixed, it's worth noting that several of Rodrigo's songs from this release are already charting in the Top 100.
Chris Stapleton has dropped another single, ’ Think I’m In Love With You,’ off his forthcoming album, ‘Higher,’ which is set for release on November 10, 2023.
Tyler Childers song, ‘Rustin' In The Rain’ is killer! Its gospel honky tonk if that makes any sense.. He takes you to church with this one.
In the world of hip-hop music, Cardi B has teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for another heavy hit titled ‘Bongos.’ The official music video is like WAP 2.0 and I'm not complaining! In fact, 8.9 million viewers on YouTube have tuned into the official video to date. Keep scrolling and you can watch that music video below!
