New Music: Weekly Releases for March 6, 2023

Hello, Music Lovers! Welcome back to this week’s music alert. Friday seemed to be a jam-packed day across various fronts. From Morgan Wallen surprising fans in Nashville with a free show, to straight-line winds that knocked out power in some parts of town, and shocking pop culture news. (IYKYK)
What can I say... there’s been plenty to talk about all weekend.
Touching on the topic of Morgan Wallen, who made the day for many Country Music Fans last week, the popular singer-songwriter riled up his fans days before the release of his LP by announcing a last-minute concert at Bridgestone Arena. Wallen shared with his followers on Wednesday that fans could obtain two free tickets to his surprise show on Friday. Needless to say, Broadway was congested all of Thursday, with folks lining up for hours to get admission passes.
As expected, the last-minute show reached capacity just hours after being distributed to the public. Likewise, the album hit massive streaming numbers just hours after its debut.
The album features 15 tracks, including hit songs such as ‘98 Braves, Cowgirls (ft. ERNEST), Thinkin’ Bout Me, Ain’t That Some, and Sunrise’. While the album has only been out for a few days, it is already creating waves in the country music scene.
Speaking of screeching and screaming... Demi Lovato dropped her first single of 2023. Lovato dropped hints on social media with a teaser of her latest single, ‘Still Alive,’ for the Scream VI soundtrack ahead of its debut this upcoming Friday.
Check out that track, along with the soundtrack, before the movie hits those big screens on March 10th.
