New Music: Weekly Releases for February 6, 2023

Hello, Music Lovers! May the first few days of February be treating you kindly in every way possible. If that's not the case, be sure to give yourself grace. After all, getting back into a routine is hard, especially when the days are cold and dreary.
The good news is that as the weeks pass, we are getting closer and closer to the start of Spring. Can I get an ‘Amen’ for the days when the sun sets after 8P ? Can’t wait!
Anywho, let’s jump right in to this week’s #NewMusic Alert.
The Latin music genre continues to thrive with the latest release by Jay Wheeler. The Reggaetonero dropped his latest single titled ‘SOS.’ The track comes in time to speak our minds. To offset the Winter blues, Wheeler has us covered with a whole vibe to jive to. We all can use a little saving of the soul interim of Spring’s arrival.
You can watch the official music video for 'SOS,' which has already received over 6.5 million views since its debut on February 2nd.
Another noteworthy release in Latin music is ‘X SI VOLVEMOS’ by KAROL G and Romeo Santos. This collaboration brings together two of the biggest names in Latin music. Considering the track has only been out for five days, fans are showing their approval through streams. The official video has 10 million views and is just a few streams short of 10 million plays on Spotify.
The Latin music genre is definitely making a big impact, as seen by its success at this year's Grammy ceremony. (Shoutout to Bad Bunny for representing Latin music.)
In the country music scene, fans are excited about the latest collaboration by Dierks Bentley and Ashley McBryde. The two artists have teamed up to create a fresh take on country music that is sure to be a hit with fans. Give ‘Cowboy Boots’ a play sometime this weekend with a side of whiskey.
