New Music: Weekly Releases for April 16, 2023
NEW MUSIC ALERT
There’s plenty going on in the world of pop culture and, as always, the music scene.
One of the most anticipated festivals in the desert popped off this past weekend. The event held in Indio, California over the last 20 years was trending across various social platforms. From the TikTok videos of the various desert parties and Instagram stories featuring all the different performances.. it sure looks like Coachella is in full effect!
Luckily for us folks that can’t make it out West, YouTube came through with the live streams which are free to watch on their platform.
One of the festivals’ 2023 headliners dropped new music ahead of his second scheduled set on Friday, April 21st. Bad Bunny teamed up with Grupo Frontera on a single titled ‘un x100to.’ Though the masses have been somewhat divided on their stance towards El Conejo Malo [cough* dating life and backpedaling on prior declarations, etc].. it’s hard to deny that the Puerto Rican Latin music star is incredible at his craft. Additionally, this surprise collaboration showcases the unbound potential and talent that’s easily recognized in Regional Mexican music ensemble, Grupo Frontera. Listen to this latest hit, here.
It never hurt nobody to give fire new tunes a listen or two. Jelly Roll debuts another track off his forthcoming album, Witsitt Chapel set to drop on June 2nd. Cannons make it back onto the scene with ‘Loving You’ and ‘Princess Diana’ by Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj. I got you via Up In the Mix’s #NewReleases Playlist.
