NEW MUSIC MONDAY

Historically, February is known as a short month but dang did it fly by!

However, the month of Love came with plenty of gifts our heart can appreciate such as the new tunes we received from plenty fan favorites.

We best not let the last day of this inspiring month pass us by without covering the latest songs to bless our ears.

Colombian reggaetonera, KAROL G, has FINALLY released her fourth studio album, ‘Mañana Será Bonito.’ The 16-track album features a mix of reggaeton, Latin pop, and dance beats. Additionally, KAROL has some of the biggest names in music featured on the project, including Shakira, Sean Paul, Bad Gyal, and Carla Morrison.

One of the standout tracks on the album is ‘Mientras Me Curo El Cora,’ which translates to ‘While I Heal My Heart.’ The song is a powerful ballad about heartbreak and the process of healing. KAROL G's emotional delivery and vulnerable lyrics make this song one of the most poignant on the album.

Another track getting buzz across socials features none other than Ms. Shakira. Their collab on ‘TQG’ became a topic of conversation on TikTok as users dissected the lyrics and deciphering whether listeners should read between the lines. Regardless if the song is in response to their failed attempts at love.. ‘TQG’ is an upbeat and a wicked anthem that some can say celebrates a phoenix rising from its ashes.

Check out plenty of the other notable tracks off KAROL G’s new LP such as ‘KÁRMIKA,’ ‘GUCCI LOS PAÑOS,’ ‘and ‘MERCURIO.’

Another sick album to bless the masses this week comes from beloved virtual band, Gorillaz. The animated musicians released their eighth LP, ‘Cracker Island,’ which features 13-tracks. The album is a mix of genres, including alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic music. Also featured on the project are various collaborations with music icons such as Stevie Nicks, Bad Bunny, and Beck.

The song ‘Oils’ featuring Stevie Nicks is a dreamy, psychedelic track that showcases Nicks' signature vocals and the band's ability to create a mystical atmosphere through their music. ‘Tormenta’ featuring Bad Bunny is another track worth an honorable mention. Naturally, the song is a high-energy, trap-inspired piece that combines Gorillaz's electronic sound with Bad Bunny's reggaeton flow.

In Country Music, Ashley McBryde gives listeners a first glimpse of what we can expect on her forthcoming album with her new single, ‘Light On in the Kitchen.’ While no date for that upcoming project has been announced, the Singer-songwriter is gearing up for a busy couple of months with numerous tour dates up ahead.
