New Music: Weekly Releases for March 25, 2022
NEW MUSIC MONDAY
Hello, Music Lovers! Welcome back for this week’s #NewMusicAlert.
Emerging Mexican music artist, Yahritza, finally released the long awaited drop, ‘Soy El Único.’ A snippet of the track went viral on TikTok a few weeks back and has been trending ever since. Users, both Hispanic and Non-Spanish speakers alike, have kept the song at the top of Tik Tok’s trending sounds. It seems as though the language barrier is not keeping people from enjoying the unique melodies and instrumentals.
Many folks have patiently waited for the full version to drop. It’s apparent Yahritza y Su Esencia is quickly solidifying their position in music with the official audio video garnering almost 3M views on Youtube since its debut on March 24th.
Speaking of doing numbers.. The Striking Atlanta, GA Rapper, Latto, followed-up her 2020 debut project with the release of her new album, 777.
The LP features several collaborations with major hip-hop names, including Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, and Kodak Black. Check out the ‘Big Energy’ creator’s new album, here.
We also have a new LP from the gifted Jamaican rapper, Koffee.
On the topic of the gifted and gifting.. Country Music fans are finally rewarded with a new album from nearest & dearest singer-songwriter, Maren Morris. The Singer’s 3rd album debuted this past Friday!
Her latest LP is a reflection of the singer’s life since the birth of her first child, losing one of her closest friends, and navigating life during COVID these past two years.
