New Music: Weekly Releases for January 23, 2023

Hello, Music Lovers! My apologies for the delay. However, let’s resume this regularly scheduled programming.
Is it just me or have y’all noticed the music scene is picking up steam as the weeks go by? Can’t say I’m mad at it. Looks like 2023 has tons of heavy hits in store for us.
Interim to this Summer, let’s put on those rose-colored lenses and pretend we’re on the beach playing nothing but tunes that make us move. Picture that! Surely, dancing in the sun entails Latin Music jams and this & that! Speaking of Nicky Jam.. the Reggaeton heavy weight takes it back to the classics with his new song, ‘Toy a Mil.’
The new track takes a spin on his current sound that’s giving hints of early 2000’s reggaeton and feels of Dembow. The official music video gives off the exact energy I envision for this upcoming Summer. Curious? Give ‘Toy A Mil’ a view, here.
Another notable release this week comes from Hip-Hop’s own, Trippie Redd.
The pleasant surprise comes a little under two years since his 2021 LP, Trip At Knight. Redd’s newest album, Mansion Musick, is said to be inspired by Chief Keef’s 2018 mixtape, Mansion Musick. Wouldn’t you know it.. Chief Keef is featured on Trippie Redd’s new project. The LP also includes features from Lil Baby, Juice WRLD, Kodak Black, and G Herbo, among others.
