New Music: Weekly Releases for December 4, 2022
NEW MUSIC ALERT
Hello, Music Lovers! December is here and kicking off the Holiday festivities. We have many fan favorites dropping their Christmas tunes and others just cranking out singles to close out the year.
Can’t say I’m mad at either of those reasons. However, the Hip-Hop heads are surely excited for all the heavy hits we’ve gotten from some of Rap’s biggest names.
Metro Boomin seems to have an internal battle between Good and Evil. While previously recognized for producing many of the genre’s demon time hits.. He seems to be making his way towards the light by dropping the Heroes Version of his newest project, ‘HEROES vs. VILLAINS.’ The LP immediately received praises across socials. Some of the most popular shared listens included the tracks: ‘Creepin’ ‘ feat. The Weeknd & 21 Savage, ‘Metro Spider’ feat. Young Thug, and ‘Feel The Fiyaaaaah’ feat. A$AP Rocky & TakeOff.
Most recently, Metro Boomin shared a touching exchange between himself and TakeOff on Twitter. The post came days after the music world learned about Ball’s tragic murder in Houston. The release is technically the Rapper’s first posthumous verse since his untimely passing earlier this month.
I commend Metro Boomin for blessing Hip-Hop fans by including TakeOff’s feature. More importantly, God bless him for honoring his dear pal’s transition by keeping his name alive even in death.
While the community continues to grieve, it’s important to keep your spirits up with a little turn up for a brief relief.
This weekend, we received just that. A gift from the universe. . Well, technically through a 1995 Three Six Mafia Sample. Latto teamed up with GloRilla & Gangsta Boo on a new heavy hit, ‘FTCU.’ The song is already trending on TikTok and a few views shy from 1 Million views on YouTube.
