Hello, music lovers! Goodness, is this Venus retrograde striking various chords in many lives right about now.

As I told my fiancé Macalley last night, we may feel crushed about the small things these days, but we'll look back at these lessons and laugh. Hopefully, the stars are speaking kindly to you!

While the universe can certainly have an effect on our mental space, patience, etc. I don’t know about you, but the planets have me rebelling more and being unapologetic. It seems that I’m not alone as it appears to be a theme amongst many. You’re really seeing this in Entertainment with big names trending in the press. After all, retrogrades hit the folks on the world stage, too.

It’s rough out here for us, and public figures are no exception. July proved to be a drama-filled month as we kicked off Leo Season. Ironically, it was the Cancer signs that have started little fires everywhere lately. (If You Know, You Know).

Surely, you've read all about the various names in music making headlines, and in some cases for unfortunate reasons. But here, we like to block out that noise and talk about the music.

Dan + Shay drop first single off new album

Have you heard the latest from Cannons? If you're a sucker for their unique sound just like ya girl, you're in for a treat. Their brand-new single, 'Desire,' is killer! Let’s just say they’ve stayed true to the essence of their whimsical style. Don't miss out on this masterpiece – give it a listen right, here!

In conjunction with the upcoming release of their new project, Cannons is hitting the road.

I’m thrilled to catch them live during their stop in the Windy City at the Riviera Theatre on September 1st. Your girl is fully prepared to be blown away by their melodies.

And speaking of new music, get ready for a double dose of musical excitement: Dan + Shay dropped the first single, 'Always Gonna Be,' from their upcoming album, 'Bigger Houses.' Mark your calendars for September 14th, as that's the day the duo’s highly anticipated album will make its grand debut.

There's no shortage of musical excitement in the air when Yo Gotti drops a new LP, ‘I Showed U So.’ The Memphis native always comes with the heaviest instrumentals. His song, ‘Mind My Business’ featuring Moneybagg Yo is legit.
