Hello, Music Lovers! Welcome back to this week’s music alert.
I guess it wouldn't make sense not to bring up Coachella Weekend 2. TikTok was flooded with many videos that festival-goers took during the party in the desert. Many of those caught in 4K included some fan favorites, including Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber. Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes sparked reconciliation rumors, among others.

While he headlined Coachella in 2022, Abel Tesfaye has been keeping busy since. Fans of The Weeknd have been eagerly anticipating new music from the music powerhouse, and he doesn't disappoint with his latest release, ‘Double Fantasy,’ featuring Future. The track is a moody and introspective ballad that showcases The Weeknd's signature falsetto and Future's distinctive rap flow. The song is inspired for the HBO show, The Idol, in which he currently stars in alongside Lily Depp.
As seen per the 2023 Coachella lineup, Regional Mexican music scene is going ablaze! Carin Leon dropped his latest release, ‘La Primera Cita.’ The song tells the story of a couple's first date and the nervous excitement that comes with it. Leon's vocals are emotive and heartfelt, and the production is lush and polished. It's the perfect track for anyone in the mood for some feel-good, romantic music. Hopefully he’ll surprise us Nashvillians again with one of his karaoke nights on Lower Broadway.
Latto drops one of the hottest summer anthems just in time for the warmer temps. Not only is ‘Put It On Da Floor’ a banger, but also, the music video will have you take a second look. The track features Latto's confident flow and a catchy, trap-inspired beat that's sure to get listeners moving.
If you're looking for a sick beat with killer bars, check out CHINCHILLA's latest release, ‘Little Girl Gone.’
