New Music: Weekly Releases - 09/10/21
NEW MUSIC FRIDAY!
Apparently, the music business’ leading ladies got together or the saying “Great minds think alike” holds truth. A few fan favorites and some of music’s hottest female artists out now released albums this week! K-Pop sensation and Blackpink’s, LISA, makes her solo debut with, ‘LALISA’. Kacey Musgraves blessed the masses with ‘star-crossed’, giving fans a glimpse into her headspace post-heartbreak and persevering through it all. After five years in the works, West Memphis, Arkansas’s very own, Yebba, drops her debut album, ‘DAWN’. The album honors the singer-songwriter’s late mother in the best way she knows how.
In related news, the late R&B Singer, Aaliyah’s self-titled project also known as, the ‘RED’ album, is now available on streaming platforms. Though the album was originally released back in July 2001, music lovers and fans have waited years for the singer’s Estate & Label to drop Ms. Haughton’s complete catalog on DSP’s. This is the second installment of scheduled releases for the singer with more works from her catalog on the way in the coming months.
